Testosterone
Testosterone may help to increase bone mineral density, libido and improve
quality of life. It is an anabolic hormone that may build and strengthen
the tissues of the bones, urogenital tract, and muscle. All sex hormones
decline with age; it is important to maintain proper testosterone levels
as it may have positive effects on estrogen balance, cortisol balance,
sex drive, intensity and response and as a vasodilator.

DHEA
DHEA is a hormone made by the adrenal glands. Small amounts are also
made in the brain and skin. DHEA opposes cortisol, therefore it may be
important in stress regulation. DHEA production declines with age, starting
in the late 20's. By age 70, the body may only make one-fourth of the amount
it did earlier in life. DHEA may be converted into estrogen, progesterone
and testosterone. In post menopausal women, DHEA may promote bone growth,
brain function, and sense of well being,
